In the December 17, 2007 issue of Accounting Today, the AccuFund Accounting Suite is included as one of the top 100 products for 2007, specifically in the Nonprofit Software category. Receiving this recognition again from Accounting Today shows the continuing growth of AccuFund as a provider of software developed specifically for the unique needs of this market.
AccuFund announces availability of Accounting Suite as a hosted solution
AccuFund Hosted provides the functionality of the AccuFund Accounting Suite as a hosted or "software as a service" solution. AccuFund Hosted is accessed through a secure internet connection and has the same "look and feel" of a locally installed solution. Advantages of the hosted solution include no need for a local server, backups and disaster recovery provided by AccuFund and ready access to your software from any location.

AccuFund releases Budget Development module
Budget Managers now have improved control of the budget process with the AccuFund Accounting Suite Budget Development module. The module allows each organization to budget at the organizational level appropriate for them and with separation of functions as appropriate. Budget Development uses budget cycles to track the process of budget approvals. This function can be especially important for government agencies with a formal budgeting process. Each departmental user has access to the history for their area to assist with future budgets. The module is available now, and through July 15, 2007 has reduced pricing for existing clients.

CPA Magazine awards AccuFund Top 5 position for Not-for-Profit Accounting
CPA Magazine in itsOctober 2006 issue has recognized the AccuFund Accounting Suite for non-profits as one of the Top 5 not-for-profit products . The article mentions AccuFund's ability to get users the reporting they need in a less-then-three step process. "Without a doubt, it's the easiest reporting functionality I've seen to date" states the article. Grants Management capabilities added to AccuFund
AccuFund has added a Grants Management module to the Accufund Accounting Suite for non-profits and government agencies. The module is a central store for all information about grants received or awarded by organizations. Grants Management is tightly integrated with the General Ledger for reporting, stores unlimited fields of data and historical transactions about the grant. The module may be customized to meet specific organizational needs.

AccuFund reduces single user price to $2,995 and enhances accounting suite by adding option for table-based account structure, user-configurable record browses and drill-to-source capabilities.
Version 3.02 of the AccuFund Accounting Suite has been released. AccuFund, Inc. has reduced the price of the single-user, stand-alone version to $2,995. It is still fully expandable to include any of the other modules that may be required by an organization. Server-based pricing remains the same, starting at $4,195.
AccuFund has enhanced the Accounting Suite to provide a table-based account structure as an option. In this configuration each element of the account number has a drop down list of the available values. Other enhancements include drill-to-source capabilities and configurable browses with instant reporting capabilities.

AccuFund Releases Version 3.01 of the AccuFund Accounting Suite
AccuFund announces the release of version 3.01 including document management capabilities in all modules. Document management has become a major concern for nonprofit and government organizations, especially those receiving grants. Funding sources are regularly requesting that all vendor bills be copied and included with funding requests. AccuFund makes this a one-step process as the AP clerk can now scan the invoices and attach them to the billing transaction in the Accounting Suite. Reports can then be run at month end that include images of the original invoice.
Other enhancements include a "query-browse" function in all modules that makes it easy for users to select and report sub-sets of data on screen and for reporting.

September 2004, AccuFund releases version 3 of the AccuFund Accounting Suite
AccuFund, Inc releases version 3.0 of the AccuFund Accounting Suite. The major improvement is the utilization of the Sybase Adaptive Server Anywhere (ASA) SQL database in the suite. While AccuFund has always utilized a number of standard database features such as transaction framing with rollback, the inclusion of ASA enhances these features with improved performance, scalability,ODBC access, and availabilty of third party tools such as Crystal Reports.
Besides the inclusion of Sybase ASA, AccuFund continues the process of product enhancements in this release. Some of the enhancements include expense control in the Professional Edition, expanded features in the financial report writer, additional budgeting capabilites that allow tracking of three distinct budgets including agency, project and grant budgets.
